Doug Toot was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1947. He was admitted to the bar in Ohio in 1973. He worked in downtown Youngstown until 1978 when he moved to Canfield and established his own practice. Attorney Toot has presented for the National Business Institute, Mahoning County Bar Association and Youngstown State University Tax Institute in the areas of estate planning, business planning and probate administration. He was also honored as Volunteer Lawyer Services Program as 2009 lawyer of the year. Attorney Toot is a member of the American, Ohio State and Mahoning County Bar Associations. He is OSBA board certified in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law. Additionally, he is rated BV by Martindale-Hubbell, a rating bestowed on those attorneys who have earned an outstanding reputation in the legal community. Mr. Toot is an avid tennis player and a golfer. He also enjoys reading and traveling with his wife.
